It's not FTD....

It's better! On the way back up the hill from the mailbox I stopped and picked these lilacs. I love the way they smell, and look, I cleared off one end of the dining room table just for them! Spring is great. The scenery turns from winter gray to pops of color here and there. I'm like a kid going to the park as JP drives us around. I also overreact (a condition I inherited from my father) and make him jumpy--OHHHH look at that dogwood,,,WOW did you see those tulips!! He tries to see all the sites I'm so calmly pointing out and drive too - poor thing. For some reason I just can't get over it - I'm amazed every year.

What's your favorite spring flower or tree? HEY,,,DID YOU SEE THAT LILAC BUSH!! Sorry, I did it again. :O)

Lol, poor JP. :-) Beautiful picture of the gorgeous lilacs.
My favorite spring-flower is by far the dogwood. They're so gracefully simple, yet they take my breath away all together on a tree. Happy Spring!

Love those lilacs. I have seen them in other yards while I am out and I wanted to stop and grab them. Do they smell great? I guess I have not had personal experiences with the lilacs. They look lovely in your vase.

Every spring I get enchanted with the yellow bushes---I'm not even going to try to spell their name; it starts with "for". Do you know the ones I mean? They are like the trumpeters of spring to me. That vivid yellow. Love it. And dogwoods (especially pink). And of course, buttercups. Tulips. Hyaciths. What a lovely world. Isn't God the most amazing artist?

I'm the same way- this time of year I start smelling the jasmine and honeysuckle and I think "it's never smelled this good before!" LOL

Love those lilacs! Tulips would have to be my favorite spring flowers.

I love lilacs! I'd love to plant a bunch one of these days.

Me again- you asked on my blog about the little purple flower... it's some kind of little violet that is growing wild- there is a little patch of them down in the corner of our property underneath some trees... apparently the birds planted them for us! LOL
I'm not sure what kind they are, but like you, I hate to see them go! Luckily I don't have to mow that area yet- not much grass there right now.
Thanks for asking!
