Ssssshhh, Wednesday...

I had every intention of making this a wordless Wednesday post but I can't. I've got stuff to say!! Those roses are from JP for our anniversary which was last week-- 26 years.

Last night and this morning we had another snowfall. As soon as I got home today I changed into my mud boots, grabbed the camera and Daisy and I went for a walk up the hill. It was stunning. The contrasts of dark and pure white, to me, are beautiful. You can see the shape of every branch on every tree.

Look how weighed down our little pine trees look. The snow was wet and heavy. Of course, before I walked back down the hill I went to each tree and gave it a little kick so the heavy stuff would drop off of the top.

What in the world! JP, as soon as I snapped this picture I told Spaceghost to quit it and that he is a bad boy.

Corrie and Violet say hi - sorry the picture is so dark, while walking around in the snow I didn't even notice that the clouds had moved back over.

I've been seeing good Florida strawberries at the store recently so I got a box last weekend and dipped them in chocolate, they were so delicious!

We're so thankful for our warm home in the holler. I'll be quiet now and blessings to you all...

Congrats on the anniversary. It's refreshing to see that you've been together for so long when so many marriages barely make it past the first year. Beautiful roses!

Those strawberries dipped in chocolate look sooooo yummy!

Congrats on the anniversary - such beautiful roses. And those strawberries have Mom drooling here. We rarely can get good ones here.

And of course, we are so jealous of your snow. What a beautiful winter wonderland of photos you shared. Enjoy and stay warm.

I look forward to your post and this was a great one due to the snowy, beautiful landscape. What a wonderful, thoughtful husband you have in giving you roses to celebrate your life together. Contratulations to you both!! He gave you roses, you gave him chocolate covered strawberries, sounds right to me.

Happy Anniversary to you and JP!! Chocolate dipped strawberries are the best~ there is a place in Knoxville that dips in milk chocolate or white chocolate... *oooh* they're sinfully good!
Love the pictures of your beautiful snow- that one missed us and went to the north.

Lovely roses---what a good guy, and Happy Anniversary to you both! I enlarged your snow pics and really enjoyed them, especially the weighted-down little pine. Winter wonderlands are very beautiful. Oh that Spaceghost! What a funny, furry feline! That is one hilarious picture! I'm sure your chocolate-dipped berries were delish, too. I love checkin' in on the "Holler!"

Happy Anniversary, JPs! I hope you had a wonderful celebration - the roses are beautiful. Well done, Mr. JP!
The snow pictures are lovely - almost look like when we were in Sweden over the Holidays.
Have a strawberry for me! I can't wait for summer - I just started some seeds for the summer garden - it's so exciting!
