A new batch, bumpy toes, and new tricks...

This post is going to be sporadic so just hang in there. Okay?
This weekend we bottled a new batch of wine, it's blackberry.

On Friday I noticed that Speedbump's feet had as much hair as a Clydesdale horse so we got the scissors and clippers and got down to business.

Violet and Corrie have learned to "down" just in the last week. I'm so proud of them because they're both wild and crazy girls. I didn't get a picture of Corrie, but, trust me she can do it. So, here's Violet in her "down." Notice that she's ready to bolt. Maybe we should've introduced "stay" first :O)
I took this picture tonight. This is what Violet does, she likes to go around and visit (pester) with either Charlie or Scrappy. It was Charlie's turn for a visit.

Blessings to you all from the holler...

Oh your doggies do look sweet. And congratulations on getting them to obey you. Each step is a milestone which should be celebrated. Hopefully you did that with the wine.

Great snuggle shots:) Phantom's toes are looking pretty messy, the Momster needs to get them trimmed soon. Thanks for your good thoughts about our weather. We had a bad hail storm that scared the daylights out of us, but no damage that we could see last night. Mom and Dad have to check the roof today. Hope the storms stay away from your area.

You guys are sort of like the the two Baldwin sisters on the WALTONS, making your own recipe! Ha!
Speed Bump is a beautiful dog and even more so after her pedicure. Fantastic picture of Violet and Charlie---what a sweet bond. I can see that their life in the holler is just wonderful.

Mmm that blackberry wine sounds delish! Someone gave me some elderberry wine and I also bought some blueberry wine, they are so so good but I can only have a little at a time(nursing).
I had just trimmed the girls toes as well. They have been so neglected, I feel bad.
Hugs to the pack!

Hi! The wine looks good! I have never attempted anything like that. I have to do Buffy's feet too. I should get on that!
