Painting the Barn...

My parents barn has been decorated by my Mother and her two sisters (with errand help by Dad and uncles.) The front part was plain so when my Aunts visited this spring we made it match the side. The side, which was done in 2007 needed to be touched up. This was like paint by number, even I could do this. It took us two mornings to redo the colors and today we did all the black trim. Occasionally my Dad would come out for his commentary and some encouragement. All in all it turned out great and we had so much fun!

This is before, see the front was done in the spring.

This is after!

You've got to have a "See Rock City" birdhouse.

WOW! That looks awesome! So much work went into that, I'm sure- but what a fantastic result. Yes, you HAVE to have a Rock City birdhouse somewhere! LOL
You asked on my blog if we were near Beechgrove- we live in Andersonville, about 30 minutes north of Knoxville. There is a very small community near us call Beech Grove, and we belong to a Beech Grove church in Knoxville! (Coincidence?)
