Merry Christmas

I just wanted to post a little something wishing all our friends in blogland a Blessed Christmas.

Here in the holler, we are blessed beyond measure and pray you are the same.  We will enjoy a quiet Christmas and plan to spend a good deal of time cooking, of course, but also, remembering that Jesus Christ birth is the reason for our day of celebration.
The prophet Isaiah wrote about Him long before He was born in Isaiah 9:6

For unto us a Child is born,

to us a son is given,

and the government will be on his shoulders.

And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,

Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
