This butterfly was keeping me company while I hosed off from being in the garden this morning.
We have the occasional turkey visit.
The hay was cut next door which leaves such a lovely view.
The flowers and weeds are in full swing.
The vegetable garden is coming along nicely.
This little tomato is called "sugary sweet." What I wanted you to see in this picture is my use for pantyhose - cut into strips, make the best tomato ties. As far as I'm concerned, there is no other good use for them :O)
The peach trees are doing good, at least we think they are.The gang says hello. Violet is hiding but is in the picture and Scrappy was not available today. She decided she'd rather stay inside and do her nails or something.
Oh, there she is. She's claimed my chair as her command post.
So, as you can see, we are abundantly blessed and thankful. May The Lord bless you and yours; this is our prayer for you from all of us in the holler.

You are not alone there my friend. Another week and we are in July! I just can't believe it!
As always, great pictures! I like your use of pantyhose. :) I use old t-shirts to tie my tomatoes.

Hi gang! Are you all staying cool in this heat and humidity?
Great garden pictures and beautiful flowers? Do you get Japanese Beetles? They are here now, and doing a number on my beans and peaches. Heading out to spray Neem when I get home. Nifty idea for pantyhose. Especially all those pairs that have runs in them that you can't use anymore!
Beautiful photos Mrs JP... love your place! Great use of pantyhose too.. I might have to try that in my garden. Thanks so much for the tip! :)
Hi,
Thank you for sharing your comment about the brain cysts..I will praying for the same outcome. Very scary words when the doctors are telling you these things. I just told her to wait until next Friday and to keep praying.I'm also going to share your story with her and give her some hope.

Hi Mrs. JP - I love seeing what's going on everyone else's garden! It's looking great! I have another use for pantyhose that you might wanna try (I haven't tried it yet but I'm going to next year) I tried raising cabbages this year, but the cabbage moths got to them. I'm going to harvest only about 4 out of 20. My dad told me to put my cabbage heads (when they get big enough to start making heads) inside the leg and secure it around the bottom. Keeps the moths out so they can't lay their eggs and hatch out little worms to eat the cabbages. He said you could do that with melons, too. Sounds like a great idea! You have a wonderful weekend, girl! Keep up the great garden and stay coooool!
Hi! Thanks for visiting and I didn't mean to make you seeth!!! Sorry about that! I probably paid $5.00 or $6.00 for this cute little pan and look what happened! Next time, I'm going to save up and buy the good ones!
